Fit Weekender

The ‘Fit Weekender’ experience is your health and fitness getaway which will consist of a concentrated long weekend from Friday afternoon to Monday morning with a focus towards health, fitness and wellness. The programme will educate guests through workshops, talks and offer a varied fitness programme delivered by ‘The Fitness Pro’ and a support team including a Yoga guru and nutritional therapist. This in conjunction with a complete healthy eating approach is the overall package and is designed to rejuvenate, refresh minds and allow you to feel the benefits of a good structured exercise programme. Give your body the break it deserves so you can feel stronger, happier and healthier. Enjoy the beautiful Cotswolds as your destination to get your Fitness Mojo back in just a few days on the perfect healthy break with some fitness, relaxation and change of scenery. Recharge your mind and body with various activities which includes hiking, yoga, group exercise classes and nutritional sessions, so you leave Yolo Retreats feelings restored and renewed.

Who is this for:

The Fit Weekender invites Male and Female’s who wish to embark on a weekend of health, fitness and wellness in the company of a team of health professionals. We advise any guest currently applies themselves to exercise and have the physical capabilities to sustain a weekend of moderate physical activity. Age is no barrier providing the fitness levels are able to sustain the workload. We recommend the entry level to be a regular attendee of a gym/fitness club or applies themselves to regular exercise 1-2 times per week.

What to expect:

  • • Arrive 4pm on the Friday and depart 10am on Monday
  • • Up to 5 hours per day exercise programme which includes a range of HIIT, Yoga and Strength training
  • • Private chef supplying breakfast, lunch and evening meal
  • • Cookery workshop delivered by our private chef

  • • 2pm – 3pm The secret to achieving results through exercise and food talk
  • • 3pm – 4pm Bodyweight strength session
  • • 4pm – 5pm Core strength and trigger point rolling
  • • 5pm – 5.30pm Questions and Answers with the Fitness Pro
  • • 6pm – 6.45pm End of Day stretch and meditation session
  • • 7.30pm Evening Meal

The stunning ‘Cartshed and ‘Grainstore’ barns are situated next door to Soho Farmhouse in the beautiful village of Great Tew nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds which is the home to some of the most beautiful countryside scenery. The venue is oozes traditional Cotswolds charm whilst combined with contemporary living . Each bedroom offers hand made mattresses, White Company bed sheets, award winning toiletries to add that extra luxury to your spacious and private bedroom to allow ‘YOU’ time to relax between the activity schedule.
